The 'Apeldoornse Messenfabriek' (Knife Factory Apeldoorn), was founded by Mr. Eugen Hollaender in 1931. At the age of 25 he came to Apeldoorn (The Netherlands) from Germany and started his own business in razor blades. Growing competition in the 40’s made him decide to aim at developing and producing Cutlery. It was his son Mr. Erik Hollaender who founded the first offices in Asia in the early 60’s. With the HQ in The Netherlands Amefa at present has offices in France, Germany, United Kingdom, Poland, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and the United States, selling over 500.000 products a day, in 65 countries worldwide with 250 dedicated employees that know everything about Retail & Hospitality! With over 90 years of experience in the industry we are proud to say Amefa is one of the main players Worldwide in Cutlery, Kitchen Knives and Kitchenware.
Our Sales team in Hong Kong is focused to expand into key growth markets in ASEAN via distribution channels, developing strategic partnerships via Local or International key accounts.
