Job Description

Business Administrator

At Aartsen, you play in the Champions League of the international fruit and vegetable trade. You will be part of a successful company where everything is structured and organized. You are responsible for the administrative side of the business for handling the day-to-day trade of fruits and vegetables from all over the world (50 countries+) into the Asian market (15 countries+). You will have contact with our international partners on the supply side and with our distribution partners throughout Asia.

Personal Skills and Interests:
- Hands-on approach
- The ability to confront challenges in a positive manner
- Excellent English and Cantonese language skills are essential. Dutch is a plus.
- Good 'people skills' and the ability to work with a broad range of colleagues and clients on an international level which requires strong communication skills
- A professional approach and work ethic
- Retaining a neat, accurate and organized work attitude is essential for this vacancy
- Knowledge in shipping documents and the import & export is an advantage

The work involves:
- Handle daily data input: purchase orders, sales orders and invoices
- Manage and checking shipping documents
- Follow up urgent documentation matters with suppliers and/or customers
- Organize the work processes of all incoming shipments
- Basic accounting tasks
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned
