The main clients of the Communication Group Ltd. are major "blue chip" companies in Hong Kong.

The Cantonese Foundation Course is a New Approach to the learning of Cantonese only available in the Communication Group. The Course will provide an understanding of the structure of Cantonese based on participants’ knowledge of the structure of English. The Course does NOT start with learning the tones of Cantonese. It is a more effective method to start with understanding the basic structures of Cantonese; then all you need to do is slot in the vocabulary. You can learn the tones as you practise the language in “real-life” situations just as you acquire and improve intonation in any language.

The Course focuses on equipping participants with the necessary language skills to cope with a series of common situations in their business and social lives such as Making Introductions in Social and Business Situations, Leaving Phone Messages, Asking for and Providing Information, and Arranging Appointments. It also provides ways to communicate with local people so that they will respond warmly to you and the most precise and polite Cantonese for use in effective daily communication. Avoid “faux pas” in Cantonese!
