Professional service firms (PSF), in particular law and accountancy firms, are facing challenges rarely seen in the professions. Calls for new business models, alternative pricing, better client service, and lowered job satisfaction of professionals has led a number of firms to break free of the tradition that has gripped the professions. This briefing will look at the problems being faced by PSFs and the reliance on hourly rates and realization. The presenter will also discuss what some firms are doing to become A Firm of the Future. Who should attend: this briefing is for senior partners and executives in PSFs, those with responsibility for the strategic direction of their firm and who are interested in improving firm performance. Why attend: gain high level insight into the strategy of PSFs and what drives value for both client and firm. About the Presenter Robert Sawhney is the managing director of SRC Associates Ltd, a pioneering Hong Kong based firm that works throughout Asia helping PSFs improve their performance. Robert has consulted for dozens of PSFs and his work has been published extensively in journals such as the Hong Kong Lawyer, The Lawyer (UK), and the Business Times (Singapore), among many others. He is also the author of Marketing Professional Services in Asia (Lexis Nexis, 2009). Find out more about Robert at www.srchk.com. |
